If you live in the high country, you’ve without a doubt heard talk about, and seen the results of, the Bark Beetle, also referred to as the Pine Beetle.  Our hillsides are showing the effects, with the invested trees turning a dark red color.  The Frisco Peninsula landscape has been transformed due to the mitigation efforts.   Help for communities to fund such restoration efforts might be on the way!  House Bill 1130 sponsored by Summit County local Rep.
