}" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;According to the National Association of Realtors, buyers first learned about the home they purchased through the following sources:&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;41% through a Real Estate Broker&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;16% via a Yard Sign&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;11% Internet&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;11% Other&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;7% Friend or relative&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;7% Newspaper or Magazine&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;7% Builders&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;However, 71% of all home buyers used the Internet during their home search ( up from 41% in 2001), but only 11% first learned about the home they purchased on the Internet.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;90% of Internet searchers used a real estate broker to assist them in their transaction.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;47% of buyers and 62% of sellers responded that reputation was the most important factor in choosing a broker.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The information contained herein is deemed to be reliable, but is not guaranteed.&amp;nbsp; Statistics are based on a NAR questionnaire of 45K consumers nationwide.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p class="MsoNormal"&gt;&lt;font face="Arial" size="2"&gt;&lt;span style="FONT-SIZE: 10pt; FONT-FAMILY: Arial"&gt;Blog by Jason Brewer&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/font&gt;&lt;/p&gt;</Description>
