Breck, Copper, Keystone Closed, but Arapahoe lives on

What a ski year!  The best snow we've had in more years than most of us can remember, and the longest winter, as well.  We are still getting snow, believe it or not.  We get a couple of days of 50-60 degree weather followed by a couple of days of snow.  Been going this way for a month or more. But I still love Spring in the high country.  Breckenridge, Copper Mountain and Keystone lifts are shut down.  The ony skiers are hearty souls who don't mind hiking to the remaining snow fields.  Arapahoe Basin, however, will likely be open most of the summer.  The snow never dies there.  So, locals are going on vacation, visitors are staying home, and Mary and I are going to conferences - about three in the next month or so.
