This shot was taken one morning as I was commuting to work. My drive is only about eight minutes so I pulled onto an overlook just off the highway. Not a bad commute to work, is it? Silverthorne Silverthorne is a developing town along the Blue river. As the valley walls rise in elevation from the river, two neighborhoods sit opposite each other. Facing east, and perched on the lower slopes of the mighty Gore Range is the Eagles Nest/ Three Peaks neighborhood. Intertwined amongst the fine houses of this neighborhood is the Raven Golf Course which features the most vertical rise and fall of any golf course in the country.
