Summit County Athletes crush the competition

Hooray!! Hooray again and again!!  Here in Summit County, our voices are going horse from all the cheering.  We have pro riders winning events everywhere.  We all saw Breckenridge local Steve Fishers' Gold winning performance at the Winter X Games in Aspen.  But another Breck local, Matt Philippi, just won the Aspen/Snowmass open skiing Superpipe title with a pair of switch 720's, edging Sean Field by 0.33 of a point.  Breckenridge local Keri Herman took the womens slopestyle by only .5 of a point, throwing fluid, stylish and technical maneuvers on rails and landings and stomped a 540 step-up gap that most women avoided.   Breckenridge local Leslie Glenn took second in the women's superpipe as well.  Way to go big!
