Blue River is a Hotbed of Controversy

Well, if you knew any of the players, you sort of saw this coming.  Since I reported last on the paving controversy in Blue River, public hearings have had a level of - oh - volatility that would make many stay home.

In a vote last week, the Town elected to put the paving issue on the November ballot, and in response, the mayor promptly resigned.  I seen some flyers since indicating that second home owners who claim residency in other states ought to change their residency just for this vote.  Now, that's campaigning. 

Guess I'll know November 7th whether I'll still be driving over pot holes on my visits or if I will be driving down a smooth ribbon of asphalt.
