| March 09, 2005 | | Dr. Sue Dillon to open urgent care practice | Well, we already knew we were getting a new hospital in Frisco. Centura Health Care is building a terrific new facility there. And adjacent to that hospital will be a new medical office building (MOB). You'd think that would be enough. But, as it turns out, there may only barely be enough room in the new MOB to handle the existing medical professionals who intend to move there. Room for expansion is still a questionmark. And Dr. Sue Dillon has thought about opening a new facility for some time to serve primarily the residents of Silverthorne, several miles away. It turns out that Silverthorne now has the heaviest population in the County, and promises the largest future growth. And it's the only community in the County that has never had a medical facility. So, Sue teamed up with Wise, Incorporated, a company out of Indiana that specializes in building and leasing medical facilities, to open her Silverthorne practice. In addition, the building, located just across from the Village Inn and visible from I-70, will house other professional - non-medical - businesses. It's a great addition to the Town. And people at this end of the County can rest better at night. | |
