A blog helping to understand Summit County's Workforce Center
Meet Janet Wolfson at the Colorado Workforce Center in Summit County Colorado. The Workforce Center is a state funded facility that helps jobseekers find employment and helps employers find jobseekers. In addition, the Workforce Center is a resource for anyone looking to start a business or learn how to set wages in their business. If you are interested in posting a for a job, get a hold of Janet and she can navigate you through the system or check out ConnetingColorado.com. Janet has recently been training for the new Governor's CRC- Career Ready Certificate- an assessment of skills that will give you a certificate- either Bronze, Silver, or Gold rating. This certificate is popular in other states where many employers require the certification; I think you will be seeing more of this in the future.
Below is a video of Janet talking about the things that go on at the Workforce Center.
Janet sees all kinds of employees from all over the county. She helps with resumes, professionals that can't find work, unemployed and disabled. Below is a video about the upcoming Workforce Center job and community fair.
