| June 26, 2007 | | The NRO has kicked off their 2007 Summer Schedule | It is that time of year again! Time for top-quality classical music concerts in the Colorado high country. The National Repertory Orchestra (NRO) provides professional experience to budding young musicians through a summer internship program. Many of these musicians go on to careers with professional symphonies around the country and world. The NRO chose the Town of Breckenridge as its new home in 1992 but concerts are also held in other locations such as Keystone, Dillon, and Vail. At little NRO trivia for you….Did you know that 180,000 people attended NRO concerts in Summit County last year? 37% were Front Range residents, 16% were from out-of-state, 23% were second home owners, and 24% were locals. The Summit Chamber is sponsoring a concert on Sunday, July 29th at 2 p.m. Click here to get complete schedule information and to learn more about this wonderful Summit County asset!
