Summit County Local starts Kenyan Orphanage

Deanna Bjork of Silverthorne opens Miracle House in Misiri
Kudos to humanitarian Deanna Bjork from Silverthorne who started an orphanage in Misiri, Kenya.  It may not have running water or electricity but it has a huge difference in the lives of Kenyas' orphaned children.  The get food and instruction; each classroom has 90 to 100 children in it.  Bjork hopes to return this summer with a group to build desks for the national school.  This seems like an incredible cause.  Anyone who would like to donate, please try the on-line site www.Miracle-House.org .    All donations go to the orphanage, not travel expenses.  Learn more here.
