Alf Tieze is a long time Summit County local who made his home just outside of Keystone, Colorado.  He might be best known for his involvement in building and managing several real estate properties in the Snake River Valley and for his early involvement in Arapahoe Basin Ski Area.  But, his recently-released memoirs are making quite a stir.  The book, "The Minefield of Memories," written by his daughter, Karina Wetherbee, tells the story of how his idyllic childhood in rural Austria was shattered by the arrival of World War II.
