Summit County School District, Summit County Public Heath and Early Childhood Connections join forces to provide free development and growth screenings.

Free early childhood development screenings offered January 15 in Summit County.
Living in the High Country use to mean that the community’s children missed out on many special services readily available to urban residents.  Fortunately, Summit County is blessed with many fantastic government and non-profit organizations that serve children and early childhood development.  A fine example is Child Find, a local collaboration between public health, the Summit School District, and Early Childhood Connections.  They will offer free development and growth screenings on January 15 from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm at the Summit Education Center.   Parents who are concerned their child might have development or behavioral issues should call (970) 668-3011 to schedule an appointment with the team of well-trained nurses, therapists and educators.  For more information on why it is so important to catch early childhood development issues early, click here.
