Snow and the Surf

Enjoying Hawaii While Summit County Gets Dumped On

We got out of town just in time - well, depending on your point of view.  We left Summit County last Thursday evening for Denver, where we would spend the night before flying to the Big Island of Hawaii early Friday.  Snow was flying as we left, and one to two feet were predicted in the next couple of days.  Our friend, reporter Bob Berwyn of the Summit Daily, reports on it here

Not that we don't like snow.  Heck we live here!  We've been doing this trip for 12 years now.  We love Summit Count, and even, yes, the snow.  But, it has been a bit much this year.  We just needed a break.  So, here we sit, watching from our hotel room the breaking surf, listening to the birds, and NOT thinking of Colorado and snow.

Have to say that we are really here to work - a two-day conference on resort real estate sales - but we did fit in a few extra days to recoup.

See you on the return!
